It is a rare privilege for Mr. Shankar that Dr. Yesudas chose to read out his poem, instead of giving a formal vote of thanks at Dasettan@50felicitation function recently.
This shows that the poem captures the depth of ideas intended by the great singer. Mr. Shankar's poems have a knack of touching a chord in the heart of the reader. This is indeed God's gift to him. May the Lord Almighty bestow on Mr. Shankar Ayur-Arogoya-Soukhyam to pen many such memorable lines in future.
